Our Story

Mike was born and raised in Breaux Bridge, Louisiana, a close-knit community known as the Crawfish Capital of the World. Mike was an entrepreneur and had many successful businesses including: Mike’s Hair Styling, Mike’s Bar Supplies, Signs by Mike, Daiquiris on Wheels, and Tropical Island Daiquiris, Steak, & Seafood.  Although Mike is no longer with us, his legacy lives on through this unique blend of Cajun seasoning created out of his love for Cajun cuisine. Mike enjoyed cooking and entertaining. If he wasn’t at his restaurant, you would find him in his outdoor kitchen cooking up a delicious meal surrounded by his family and friends. Mike loved sharing his seasoning with everyone and now we get to share it with you! He is greatly missed by all who knew and loved him, but we are thankful that his legacy can live on through Big Mike’s Cajun Seasoning & Dry Rub. We are confident that you will love Big Mike’s just as much as we do! As Mike would say, “Add a Lil’ Love to Your food!”
